Who are you, and what have you done with my husband?

So last night, Jeremy put away the dishes in the dishwasher, loaded the dishwasher and started it (I didn't even think about asking--I gave up on that 7 years ago and we've been married 7 years), helped put kids to bed, happily, let me sleep in a bit this morning while he got the kids dressed and fed them breakfast, rubbed my sore neck for a few minutes, finished getting Liah ready for school, and then took her to school. Um, who are you, and what HAVE you done with my husband? On second thought, don't answer that. I'll just keep this one.

Emily, the diva, in concert

Emily is quite the soloist. She LOVES to sing. All people get songs stuck in their heads. Not Emily. No such thing as being "stuck" in HER head. It escapes from every fiber of her being. No matter where we are: the eye doctor, church, the store... it's Emily in concert. Here's a few of her recent favorites.

Separation of church and state? I think not...

I overheard Emily and Liah taking turns the other day standing on a step stool in the dining room and sharing their "testimonies". Liah got up and said something like this:

"I'd like to bear my testimony. I believe in the United States. And for-which-it-stands."

Emily then followed by getting up on the stool and reciting the pledge of allegiance.

Emily: Mommy? What is Sean having? He has something orange.

Mom: I didn't give him anything. Where is he?

*mysterious sounds coming from under the livingroom couch*

Caught ya Sean! Does he look guilty??

Emily: Can I have one??

Liah: Can I???
