p.s. Thoughts on pinching? Could there really be any worse thing for a child's self esteem than not wearing green to school on St. Patrick's day? How I despise that tradition... (the pinching part, that is...)

Addison is looking so big! I love all the green that your cuties are sportin'. And I too hate the whole pinching thing.
Amen! That pinching tradition is just plain weird and mean...I made sure my girlies were wearing plenty of green today. And congrats on no more school loans, now that is something to celebrate!
Yeah, but if they're green is tiny/hidden and they get pinched then they get to slug the person who pinched them! Haha... way to start school fights, huh? I love how they all have different greens on... there are just too many shades of green now!
Very cute!
CUTE pictures. Addi is so stinkin CUTE!!! I can't wait to see him again! Now, Amy, don't worry. I pinned green shamrocks on all my kids today who forgot to wear green so they wouldn't get pinched!
Today my plane stopped at Yakitat on the way to Anchorage. Here people board outside using big portable stairs. A little girl about Liah's age started to go up the steps then stopped and stared at all of us who were already on board and seated. She turned to her mom and said, "I don't want them to pinch me." Her mom reassured her that we would not but that did not stop her from warily climbing the stair and looking at each one of us carefully before passing by. I worked really hard not to outright laugh.
Addison looks so grown up!
And I agree....no mother should ever allow her child to not wear green on the 17th of March. That would scar them for life!
I agree on the St. Patricks Day tradition. I will always make sure to send my kids to school on that day.
