So here we are again. It is lunch time. This may sound bizarre, but I am in a food rut right now. Nothing sounds good. All growing up, it was cereal for breakfast, PBJ for lunch and something awesome my mom would cook for dinner. But having eaten PBJ everyday of my life until I left home has kind of warn out the appeal. So every day, when it comes to lunch, I never know what to eat. And it got me thinking... what do people eat for lunch besides PBJ? So I’m putting the question out there hoping for some ideas, hopefully somewhat healthy, of what to eat for lunch.
What do you eat for lunch?

I hate choosing lunches too because I don't want to just eat the same thing over & over. I eat leftovers from previous dinners, but I also occasionally have a salad, a sandwich, soup, wraps, or a mixture of random things [some rice, some beans, some cold cut veggies, etc.] Good luck getting some ideas!
Beckett loves "hotdogs," otherwise known as vienna sausages, and macaroni and cheese! I, of course, don't eat it...I love laughing cow cheese spread on wheat thins!
Leftovers all the way. Of course it looses it's appeal if I am the only one eatting it and it goes on day after day after day.
I got introduced to a great wrap by my sister in laws. It's a chicken wrap. You grill a piece of chicken (I have enough for two lunches)
you put it on a tortilla with black beans, avocado, tomato, spinach, and I add a little ranch! MMM sooo good. kinda messy but I love it:) You might fall in love with it like I did!
you could try this website for ideas.... ourbestbites.com it's got some really yummy ideas, and enough to change things up.
I'm with you Amy. My lunch time routine is the same day in and day out. Boring!
usually dinner from the night before. It's my way of getting out of making lunch and it's nice to eat warm lunch. This week I made pumpkin soup from the left over gourds hanging outside by the door and it was SOOO good. With torn up bread or with rice it was super sweet & yummy.
Mac and cheese, mini corn dogs, quesadillas, grilled cheese and tomato soup, peanut butter tortillas, spinach tortilla wraps with grilled chicken-cheese-lettuce and ranch dressing, croissant sandwiches with chicken grape salad or deli meat! it always feels like the same old same old!
