...Party in the back!
Sweet mullet, Addison, but it's time to go. The last time we went home to California for Christmas, I had a different baby with a mullet. Her name was Emily, and her uncles teased her incessantly. As much as I would like to repeat that, I figured we'd go ahead and get Addison's first haircut out of the way BEFORE going to California (which with this snow I sure hope we make it!). I just feel so silly taking scissors and clippers to a 4 month old's head. Seriously. Well, he's almost 5 months, right?
Ready for your haircut, Addison?
Seriously, what 4 month old has this kind of hair??? That would be mine.
I seriously almost cried cutting off these locks! No joke, there are seriously 4 inches here! Too bad you can't donate this to Locks of Love. There are some babies that would really appreciate this.
After I cut off the initial locks with scissors, Jeremy took the clippers to his sweet little head. He actually was quite enthralled with it, and didn't freak out one bit. He has always loved having his hair washed, combed, stroked, anything. Apparently, haircuts are okay too.
He looks like such a little man now!

I'll take that hair for Locks of Love! If my kids are anything like me, they won't have hair like that until they're two! :)

Addison's mullet pictures are so stinking cute! That boy is one of the happiest babies I have ever met, and I just thought I'd let you know I have a little thing for him!
His haircut looks great. Giving your baby their first haircut is sad and stressful, but it looks like you guys did a great job!
Hannah had a sweet mullet until she was one. I knew I should trim it, but I wasn't brave enough, so my awesome sister in law did it for me.
The first haircut is always sad for me too! It makes them grow up. But, they sure do look cute!

Did you save it in a little plastic bag? I've got thousands of plastic bags with hair in them around this house.
There's nothing like a first haircut to add months to your look. He went from looking like a four month old to easily a 5 1/2 month old :)
