Race Day!
I ran my first race today!!! It was the Shoreline Run in Richland which is a 10K. I ran the whole 6.2 miles! My time was 1:07:33, but the time in the picture says 1:07:04. So they were off a good 30 seconds on my time. Oh, well! It was so fun to do this with my sister and with my running group. There were so many times I wanted to quit, but I'm so glad I didn't! I started getting all emotional when I came around the last bend and I could see my family there cheering me on! It felt so good to accomplish something and have them waiting for me at the end. Liah wouldn't let me give her a kiss because, and I quote she "didn't want a stinky kiss". lol

Way to go Schmames!!!! You are amazing! I'm so impressed and glad you are finally running so now we can run more races together (or run/walk as a marathon case may be...)
BTW, did you see who else is in those pictures? My IPOD, mere hours before her imminent death by washing machine. Seriously, who does that (other than me)?!! I have been unable to revive her...poor thing.
