Remember my post about our new ducky bathroom? Well the insanity didn’t stop there! I was determined to finish any projects before school and reality started again. I decided to finish painting my living room. Also I had mentioned to Jeremy how sick my dining room floor was and how it might be nice to someday rip it out and put in hardwood-ish floor. So when I started painting our living room, he felt inspired and started tearing up floor.
After 7 years of kids spilling on dining room carpet 3 to 95 times a day, our light colored carpet was just disgusting. No amount of carpet cleaning would make the stains go all the way away or stay gone.
So I give you our before shots….

We also bought new furniture!
(just imagine the walls white…)
(I actually paid full-price for that can of dark brown paint. It hurt a little, not gonna lie, but it was fun to pick out a color from the little cards and match it up exactly to what I wanted)
I feel like I have a whole new house! I love it! And Jeremy did such an amazing job on the pergo flooring. Did I mention I love it??

WOW Amy you weren't kidding when you said you kept going! The floor is gorgeous!!!! Good job Jeremy! And I do love brown paint- even if you do pay full price!
