So I got my first tag in blogland today from my dear sister-in-law, and I thought, well okay fine because it was from you I will look into it. It is the 4th file, 4th picture one... when what comes up but this little picture!!! It took me a minute to figure out who it was. You don't realize how much they change when you see them everyday. This is Emily on July 16, 2005. She just turned 1 five days earlier. I was already pregnant with Sean. Crazy what I had coming to me 8 months later.
So when I went to add a picture, the files show up opposite of the order they do on my computer (I have no idea if that just made any sense), so I figured I'd check out the 4th file, 4th picture from that direction, when what comes up but this picture from 8 months later. This is Sean with Emily and Liah on March 17th, 2006 in his room in Pediatrics at the hospital. He was born early with under developed lungs, and spent 5 days in NICU on a ventilator, then CPAP, then just oxygen before he could breathe on his own, and then he was moved to Pediatrics for a day, and then I finally got to bring him home. Overall, we were very lucky and blessed, and it seriously took me a year or so to realize that it wasn't my fault. And you'd never know it now that he started out this way!
(you can see his monitor wires coming out of his jammies)

Look how little Emily is! It really is amazing how much they change.
You're totally right. Anyone who knows Sean would never guess that he had a rough start. That boy is like the Energizer Bunny. He keeps going...and going... He cracks me up!! Sean is a cutie. It's crazy to look at that picture of him and the girls and think he was ever that small. They just grow too fast!
Cute pictures!
And uh, why on earth did you not tell me about some crazy bug crawling around at ballet!
Cute picture of you and Jeremy!
Hi Amy!!!! I had seen your comments and just now clicked on your blog to realize that....
'hey, I know her!'
Your family is adorable, love the pictures!
I'll make sure to add you to my favorites! See you at ballet tomorrow :)
Hey Amy, I guess we are tag-teaming for super saturday. I wondered if you wanted me to pick up your materials when I pick up mine. I wondered if you had stamps already that you wanted to use for the class or if you needed some. Once I get a head count I'll go to the store and didn't know if it would be easier for you if I picked up the stuff so you wouldn't have to take all your kids. Let me know...
Well, I'm glad you did it [seeing as it was from me] :) LOVE the pic of Emily... we never did get to see her at that stage!
